TEC ROOM is a Sri Lankan technology website, publishing news, feature stories, software & app reviews, tech tutorials and product reviews in Sinhala. The main purpose of the website is to bring the latest tech news, tech tutorials in the Sinhala language and respect user contributions by letting anyone contribute and update the latest news, In the same manner, anyone with access to the website can read news and get the latest updates via the official website.

Concept

For TEC ROOM, our goal was to build a modern, content-driven platform that makes the latest technology news, tutorials, and reviews accessible in Sinhala. We focused on understanding the needs of Sri Lankan tech enthusiasts who prefer to consume information in their native language, as well as contributors eager to share their knowledge.

The design prioritized readability, easy navigation across categories, and a contributor-friendly structure that encourages community participation. By integrating a clean layout with user-focused features, the website was developed to serve as a trusted and inclusive tech hub for Sinhala-speaking audiences.
